Looks more like Ariel to me though?
Whats the 'badge' on knee grip?
chrome plated 'flutes' in top/sides?

Doh, enlarged picture, it's definitely Ariel tank could be mid fifties 350/500. here's pic to show how it looked on square four (looks too smll for that though)

ok thanks for the link, it is an arial after all. I think ill be keeping that puppy.

I have a couple norton cylinders with std pistons, head, tranny and engine if anyone needs them.

also a couple of those classic english headlights.
