Trying to thin the fleet a bit.
Ive had my Norton fun and looking to move on to other things.
First is a Featherbed. This bike is a "bitsa" in the truest sense of the word.
-61? Manxman frame
-58? Nomad bottom end
-650SS top end
Nothing matches. I think this was the POs clubman race bike for a bit.
Yes it needs the ugly knocked off it in the worst way, but the bones are REALLY good. Everything moves as it should. Honestly don't think it would take much to make it run. I have a set of headers and a front fender that are not pictured. No titles on bikes this old in my state.
Second is a 1971 750 Commando.
Numbers match, everything turns freely. Has a single Mikuni on it now, but have the original Amals too. This is the definition of a "barn find"
Clearly it needs a service to be put back on the road. Cant think of anything abnormal that needs to be done.
Glass tank has never had ethanol in it.
Clear title
Last is a 1974 850 Commando.
Clear title. Currently on the road and used regularly. TON of new parts. Good honest survivor. Not mint though. Next owner can either enjoy it as a great rider, or as a great base for restoration. Few Dunstal parts/
