We all ride in Jersey here . We get a few coming out of Manhattan and Brooklyn . Mostly Ducatis and Triumphs but are more than welcome to pull you into the pack . We're all meeting up Sunday at Rockaway Townsquare off of I-80 at 9-930. FYI - We ride like twats. ;D
 
Thanks for the response--- i would like nothing better than to join tomorrow. But thanks to a losing battle with a merging-without-looking panel van about 18 days ago, my thumb is broken-- grateful, because getting hit at 40mph in city traffic, the worst of it was the thumb. I have been TOLD not to ride for at least another month, but the cast comes in 10 days, so we will see..... hope to meet up next time. matt
 
Sorry to hear about your thumb but if you can duct tape that sucker , show up and ride best you can . You won't regret it . If you can't there will be many more rides before first snow fall.


Once again if anyone in the NY/NJ/PA area wants to do a good ride we are meeting 9/21 at the Rockaway Townsquare in Rockaway , NJ outside the Dunkin Donuts between 9-10am . Just bring your bike and a set of nuts . ;D
 
hey im in brooklyn, im rippin apart my cl450 this week and my triumph needs some love. Any how about your question, i cant ride at the moment. Im hoping for a short winter. Also hoping that by the time spring is here, ill be done. where you in brooklyn and who do you usually ride with? Ridin in the city isnt much fun. that is unless you have the jackie robinson loop on lock. a couple of my friends brought me up there the last week of august when my triumph died on the way home. Never had more fun leaning in my life. Of course they all ride new ducatis and triumphs so im always looking for a fellow vintage guy to ride with

Im looking for get a few rides out before the end of the season im in central nj alot of nice roads out here..

trying to clean up a 1970 cb350 i just picked up but i can ride my 78 kz650..

any meets or rides? :)
 
im in brooklyn as well.... will start meeting up once my bike is done. no worries, i still have another year till i dont have any limitations on my license ;)
 
Im in brooklyn as well, usually just ride around here. Go up to fort hamilton down to the bay street pier and back to bay ridge.

sounds like a neet idea. I know theres def a lot of peeps in the NYC area who'd be into it.

where is the biggest question, I'm sure Rocan might have some good idears. Maybe somewhere outside? Dunno if theres a park where we can hang out semi close to our bikes. any place in Central Park?

I'd say manhatten would be choice, since Nj people and BK people can converge into a super Ton.
 
how about in front of my werk until we find somewhere better. the street is dead on sundays. and i dont see the cops messing with us there... how does the first sunday of each month sound?
 
sounds killer, I'm werkin on getting my bike finished up so technically I will have at least a month to work things out if August 1st is our first day.

Nice thats a cool area

This is a question for once I'm up an running, when you goto jersey and back if ever. Do you prefer the tunnels or the GWB. I'm accostmed to taking the Lincoln Tunn. Since like 30-35mins from home and I'm in the city but on a bike seems interesting. Like itd be really smokey and exhaust stinky. GWB seems awsome for the great view. Any Suggestions?
