I have a 74 CB350 that im working on. The oil filter housing bolt is siezed up something bad, and now the head is completely rounded off. Anybody have any tips for getting this thing off. I've tried vise grips, heat, every thing I could think of. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Pick-up yourself a pair of Parrot Jaw Channel Locks. Notice the top jaw shape is concave and the bottom is convex.
They are awesome for gripping anything round and the twisting motion naturally makes them lock on harder. Not the amount of sqeeze you put on the handles.
When the tool man showed me mine some 20 years ago, he showed how they worked without squeezing the handles at all, just used downward pressure on the top handle was enough to use them.

There's one solution.

You can also grind off or drill off the head of the bolt (being careful not to damage the housing), and when the filter housing is off you can get the bolt out. Gonna need a new bolt anyway.

I had to cut a slot in mine with a Dremel and used a big slotted screwdriver to get it out.
