Hey all. A new member here who's been lurking around and scrapping up what advice I can on my 73 CB350 build. But now I'm looking for a shop in the Pittsburgh area that will work on the top end of the engine. I've called a lot of the larger shops and none of them will work on anything older than 20 years. The closest shop I've found is WBS Fabrication in Dublin, OH (3 hour drive) and they quoted the work at $650 (new piston rings, gaskets, valve job and a custom fabricated cam chain tensioner out of delarin) all if I pull the engine.
I just want to know if anyone knows of a smaller shop I probably missed that works on vintage bikes that would do it at a comparable cost (or less, obviously) that's in the Pittsburgh area. This is the last step that's keeping me from putting the bike back together. The engine is already out and I want to get it into a shop in the next week.
Thanks!
