The main problem with that is the brake master cylinder is set up for 4, 6, or 8 piston calipers (even more if they are already double action)
M/C piston can be moving just too much fluid making the brakes a bit 'touchy'. Keeping a matched set won't be a problem though, you can never have too much front brake, (as long as it provides good feedback

BTW Eric, I forgot to look for sets of brass washers, will do it today
