Picked up one badass scribblin tool...

It's bolt action, writes smooth as a babies butt, and can be used as a weapon. What else do you need in a pen?

These are made by our very own Mr.E.

I don't understand why people hate Harleys or Jap bikes or w/e just to hate them... in the words of McQueen.. 'if it has two wheels and an engine i'll ride the fuck out of it.'

Its because their product sucks.

Loud+slow+ill handling=sucks. To most people.

Oh don't forget overpriced, constantly broken and needs a diaper.

D, you do realize how many Harleys are on the road in the good ole US of A yes? Harley still out sells all others in the road bike class, Honda sells the most overall.

I appreciate you right to your own, but Millions disagree and in the town your in alone has a 3-1 Harley to Honda ratio. Not that I dislike Honda in fact I mention it all the time, I'm an all in motorcycle enthusiast ;D

Slow compared to what... A ZX14 switched to full output, sure they are slow if your racing on a road course or drag racing stock bikes against 450lb liter+ bikes. A stock bore FLTRX with big sucker, true duals and some Rineharts dialed in is plenty fast for the job it's intended for.

I see that none of my other reasons were disputed ;D Yes there are fast harleys. Duh. Unfortunately the majority do not possess the the appropriate noise to power ratio. To me its the exact same as putting a giant can exhaust on your civic and rollin around G-Ridin the whip cuz it sounds cool. Noise should come from power.

Most people here think a muslim extremist living in a cave orchestrated 9/11. Just because the suckers buy it doesn't mean they should.

I also bought a storage bin and a oem gasket set for an elsinore.

Those bins are invaluable. I buy every one I come across.

I use a ton of them at my day job too. I was a bit disappointed in the quality of these tho. The rack is sturdy enough, but the bins are just flimsy. But, it's not like I'm gonna put heavy things in them either. And I can replace with sturdier bins if I need to. Mostly just gonna hold open pen and hammer orders, and spare inventory.

They are slow compared to motorcycles 40 years older, with less displacement. The new 883 Sportsers puts out something like 45hp at the wheel. I find it hilarious that Harley wont even put this figure on there website because its fucking laughable for a engine of that displacement to be putting out figures so low in todays world. It does have decent torque (53 ft lbs), so people can lug that crap out of the engine because they can't ride/ don't want to change gears. That being said, if you throw enough money at anything it can be fast and cool; a la the Speed Merchant. The thing that pisses me off is Harley purposely makes their bikes CRIMINALLY slow so that you're obligated to buy the shit load of factory offered performance upgrades to make the bike fun. Harley does sell a lot of bikes, and their masterful understanding of the market is un rivaled. They're not stupid, they see that their cash cows are aging and not buying bikes/accessories like they used to so they are trying to generate new buyers with the 750 street, and their electric concepts. I wouldn't be surprised at all if harley offered a "scrambler" version of the sportster sometime in the future.

That 88 is the perfect balance for a beginner "Harley" owner or female who wants to "lug" around.

I get it guys, you don't like Harleys... Don't buy or ride them, that simple.

I like the sound, and the way a bagger handles the wind and the way it mosies up the canyons ;D I don't like fart cans or gangster rap thumping in donk shit though.

If you don't like Harley Davidson, the best way to voice that is to not buy or repair them.

Yea "Most people" would rather bury there head in sand.

Meh', I love them all. I have Harleys, I have metrics, I have British. They all bring me joy. The Harleys, just at a slower pace.

Yup, never actually ridden one but I wouldn't turn one down. 8) Or any good deal on any bike for that matter. :D

I've never understood bashing of any kind. Makes no sense to me. ???

This IS NOT what it appears to be!

What it ACTUALLY is, is a '74 Norton "John Player Special" Commando 850 MkIIA. It is missing the very distinct 2-eyed full fairing, front fender, and bulbous box-tail seat; instead, the previous owner has installed mismatched replica Production Racer bodywork and Dunstall Decibell replica mufflers. Otherwise, it's 100% legit and everything else is correct except the tail light.

I have the correct front fairing bracket and huge plastic airbox on the shelf.

What it SHOULD look like (and hopefully will, before I sell it along)
