Dr. j, this is a very cool photo. It almost looks like he is coming out of the frame. I can't really describe the vibe/look of it. I really like it. It was well taken. I would have bought it just from the feel of it??? Not sure that makes sense.
 
a 9-18mm f4.0 wide angle lens, and a 20mm f1.7 pancake lens. Love em. Put some recent shots in the member art section.

Those shots were done with a Panasonic GH2. I also shoot an Olympus E-PL1. I'm in love with the micro 4/3 system. So much that my FFs are collecting dust.
 
finally stepped up and got the shop a tire changer, complete with the motorcycle and ATV adaper willd o everything from law mower tires to low profile 24 run flats

can not mount and not balance so got a digital balancer as well with the adapter for motorcycle tires... will even stop to allow weights to be hidden and sepreated to hide them behind spokes and what not

and Timmy in the shop jsut picked this up... we are going to do a turbo bored Cb750... already has a 180 rear and 1000 front end... full hydrolic set up... 4 - 1 44 slide carb came with it as well... lots of metal fab ahead of us... gonna try and do false frame aroudn the real frame to hide the oil inside it... ya buddy!
once we get it on the table (new table coming next week) we will get some updated pics...

Oh damn JRK5892! Thats quite the purchase you've made there. Hopefully that tire machine is built like the ones in the old days. I have my fair share of old work horses that still do the business. Nice get.
 
Turbo CB750 is gonna rip it up. Can't wait to see it RAWR!

P.S. Your new toys rock. I am a sucker for buying tools I only use once, but I don't f-in care. You however will give her some good use.
 
Scored this for $275, mint shape the kid never even used it. Pretty fun camera and takes some cool shots, to bad I just sold the cafe :( , woulda been fun to do a little photoshoot with it before it went to it's new home.

Very nice, would like to get one but my D3100 is similar in size so it would be a waste.
