I remember back in the good ol days when we used to "build" bikes around here, not buy a BMW with some bags and a fancy schmancy headlight.......

Just kidding brother, that bike is rad.
no comment haha

Yeah I learned mig on a Lincoln 135. I've spent a lot more time tig welding, but just couldn't come up with the cash for another tig welder. $100 was a steal, got a cart and tank + 5 spools of wire with it.

Does anybody have a shot of this fella on his Aspencade?

I'd go on but I have to go grocery shopping on my Goldwing

This past weekend at the swap meet the only thing I bought was from a booth with 100's of helmets and most were only $20/piece

This was the helmet I found

Except they charged me $25 because it was the only one like it. >:(

Oh and does anyone recognize the symbol? I feel like I have seen it before but I can't place it.

Is it the same on both sides? It rings a bell (no pun intended) with me too, but can't place it - my google-fu isn't working either...

the older bell toptex are worth in the 500+ doller range even in ruf shape

I think it refers to the original name of bell,bell-toptex
anyway the early ones have toptex inside like a name
you are looking for early 60's lids most I got was $650 for one that I paid $5 for at a yardsale, and the comfort liner was shot

Jeezuuus.

This one has a '75 Snell sticker, so it's not a toptex. I know what to look for now thanks.
