Hi guys... I just found a pretty unbelievable spot in Mansfield. There's a hole-in-the-wall place there called B & B Cycle (Google B&B Cycle in Mansfield) that'll make you drool or weep or both. I went over there looking for a gas tank today and scored a CB400F SuperSport tank that's pretty good... not perfect, it'll have to be sealed but there aren't any dents... and the place is FULL of bikes; 100s for sure, perhaps 1000s of them. Many are pretty rough and suitable for parts only, but many look to be VERY ready to acquire. I think that many are titled and I'm sure that most are not, but I saw '60s to '80s bikes (mostly Jap, some Brit) of almost every description, size, color, type, brand, etc. They have numerous, numerous, numerous gas tanks in all conditions; from pretty poor to like new from dirt bike to Gold Wing. Exhaust pipes, mufflers, wheels, handlebars, seats, gagues, on and on and on. If you are looking for a specific part they probably have it (and probably know pretty much right were it is.) The two brothers know bikes, know what years various models were made, know what old bikes sell for, and know what's collectable and what's not so you won't get an intact H-1 for $200 or anything like that, but if you are a motorcycle lover and live a reasonable ride away (or are at Mid-Ohio to see races) they'd be worth visiting. I was looking for a gas tank and it was frikkin' cold so I didn't look around a huge amount but I did see tons of CB750s including at least one SuperSport and at least one really nice looking RD400 and a Kaw 400 triple. There were at least three Norton fiberglass GP tanks and even one of those Tracy Design tank/seat outfits.

Nope, sorry. Only had my cell w/ me and there wasn't enough light w/o a flash. I was using a little flashlight to see things.

Man... Any of you PA folks feel like taking a nice Saturday ride to Ohio when it warms up?

If you come across on I80 it's only about 2 1/2 hours from the state line.

Right on. That'll make it about a 3.5hr ride. Would be a blast once it warms up.

Von, one of my brothers lives in Clarion, just off Exit 60 on I-80, that's about a 3.5 hour drive from here. Akron isn't much fun, but all-in-all it would be an easy ride. Bring along a buddy w/ a pick-up to carry home all the booty you plunder while there. ;)

Hell ya man. Gotta get out there. If you ever feel like heading to Beaver Co Pa, theres a place here called cycle recyclers. Sounds very similar. They have acres of bikes and buildings full of parts. Everything from the 70s to modern sportbikes.

Sounds good. Since I got the tank today I'm not sure what else I'm gunna' need but it's sure fun to look around in places like that. I did see a 500T or whatever (?) today that had a really cool speedo & tach in the headlight bucket... wouldn't mind getting hands on one of those.

This place is weird... They have an ultralight, some old cars, maybe 1000+ bikes, etc... Its also full of old chopper stuff and they sell these leather jackets in the office. You could spend days rooting through all their crap.

There was a place like that near where I lived in Alaska years ago... lots n lots of bikes but everything else too, cars, trucks, buses, airplanes, and on and on.

Excellent find- I hit Mansfield pretty ofetn, have family in the area but had never heard of this place. Definitely on my list to hit next time I'm down there.

I work in Mansfield and am there every weekday. Let me know when you are going to be around and I'll try to meet up w/ you. Cory

Ive been going to B&B for years its only about 20 min away. there is a secret for getting great deals. Take your old parts over and trade them for the stuff you need. Ive walked out of there with hand fulls of parts for next to nothing by trading center stands pipes and turn signals. I dont know if you went in to the back warehouse, there is probably 300 bikes crammed in there and a lot of them are complete. Just dont go telling everyone about this place or all the good shit will be gone, I thought it was my little secret....

Nice! I'm gonna have to check that out. I drive down a few times a year to visit family in Lima and have to pass right through Mansfield..

Sorry to tell your secret... most on here aren't close enough to get there anyway. ;) Yeah, my 400F tank came out of the back warehouse. Quite a place! I may run over there when I start looking for my next project. Not sure how they are to deal with when you want an entire bike, though. Cory

wow that place isnt to far ! im around akron so about 2 hours for me !

I was in Mansfield Friday and had a little time to kill. Wife was with me, so thought I'd stop and check it out for future reference. I left her sitting in the car for an hour and I was just starting to find the good stuff! This place is fantastic- and the two brothers tha own it are a trip- were into racing, and all things two wheeled for ever. Kind of place you can just stop by to BS in. I poked around everywhere, including the warehouse- unbelievable. Need to have a ride with this as a destination.
