This has got to be THE best investment I've made in the tools dept. No more "headstands" for cleaning/polishing them low hard to reach spots. A friend of mine has 1 too and he rides a Goldwing. This is a very solid lift.
Oh, and Tintin... here is my idea for a storage soloution. Don't know if it will work for you. I built a workbench that was fastened to the wall just high enough for the lift to roll under it.
It's not free shipping though - you need to add $77 for shipping this bad boy, even though they say free shipping on orders over $69 or whatever it is.
With the GST discount it works out to $411 delivered vs. $395 taxes included from Princess Auto. Not sure which lift is better or worse. I don't like PowerFist products typically from Princess Auto, but PA does claim to have very good customer service/satisfaction policies, and having a store to go back to if theres an issue is kind of nice.
Hector - one of these would easily go in the back of a Honda Civic or HHR I'm waffling on it - might bite the bullet.
