Put Cases Back Together and can only get one gear....

JUST put my bottom cases together on my 360 motor, wanted to make sure everything was fine before the sealant set up and when I try to shift gears I can find neutral and first...but nothing after that. Do I need to finish assembly before it will shift through all 6 gears?

Make sure you're turning the engine while you're shifting. They won't shift more than one gear with no movement.

Glad you got it worked out.

And unless you have the world only 7 speed cb360, then yes 1-6 is good :)

No, they don't cycle back around - you have to go up to 6 and then back down through the gears to 1. You don't have to engage the clutch for each gear change - you can down shift from 6 to 1 through all the gears while holding the clutch in the entire time. But you don't go past 6 and end up in 1 again, or drop from 1 down to 6.

I think some bikes were in fact built like that, but I can't remember which ones.
