Question about throttle cable and housing for vm30 install on 1970 cb350

I have done a ton of research and watched some great videos on setting up the cable to the carbs with the 2 to 1 cable kit that came with the carbs, I got that, but I am wondering if there is anything else I need to set up the throttle, It seems like the cable kit should of had some sort of elbow tube wthe an adjuster, and the throttle assemble doest have one. Will this kit even work with my assembly? Thanks for putting up with my newbness, this is my first bike as Im learning the ropes, Thanks.
 
The photos of that throttle show an adjuster. It's not an elbow or anything - more like the short straight one you'd find on your clutch lever.

You have adjusters on the tops of both carbs, and then the one at the throttle end. Piecing this stuff together is always a little DIY.

The cable ends on that carb kit look like they're just raw cut cable - did it come with barrels/bits to solder onto the ends of the cable? Are the little nubs on the ends for mounting to the carb sliders?

Get some pics up of the parts you have on-hand. Also, don't be shy about calling up DCC and asking for assistance. They're incredibly helpful folks, and good friends.

Thanks Tim, the registration process was a breeze, which was awesome! Im glad be part of the site, the last month since I have had my bike every google question I have asked brings me here and have gotten my bike running great despite the leaky kehin carbs. Ill get some photos of the kit here in a few, it did come with all of the barrels and ends and the nipples that need to be put on after I run the cable through the carb, and there is a great video on youtube expaining and showing that process in great detail, but the info has been scarce on the other end of the cable at the throttle. Ill get some photos up right now.
 
I have vm30s and that same cable....you will have to solder the small nipples on the carb side...they give you a barrel with a screw set for the control side so you can adjust. I haven't done mine but will be watching this thread for your take on this. I see they have the carb jetted differently than the Scott kit. Even with an overbore and valve mods my cb350 is still running a bit rich. Here at sea level we have a lot more pressure and my air screws are all the way out. I bet you will be much closer to right on with those. Once you get that cable on and synced up....I think you'll love them.
 
where are you located maybe one of us that does this all the time is close by?
