Question about VM30 carbs

Hi
Im looking for a set of VM30 carbs for my CB350 (72).
But on Ebay there are two types. The normal VM30 and the cheaper ones. The cheaper ones are for snowmobiles. But what's the difference between these carbs?

can you post the links or the mikuni part numbers then i can tell you

you should know all the vms are shipped here with 2 stroke jetting from the factory so will need to be rejetted

VM30-164 (snowmobile)
MIKUNI VM30-83
And also found this one: MK-H30

vm30-83 has a power jet for 2 stroke use you dont want that

vm30-164 is a raw carb suitable for your use but it will need different throttle slide and jets

the last one is a full ready to install kit with ALL the parts you need to get your bike going including support

but ask around as to which (WHOS) kit works the best for your bike

Unless you're planning on some further performance mods, looks for a set of 28s. The 30s can be made to work, but the 28s seem to be easier and more conducive to a street motor.

i have the newly re-release baby 28s on my cb350 they are built on the smaller form factor

and fit with a lot more room and work amazing

I'm not going to do big performance mods. Maybe in the future.
The engine is apart and going to replace all seals, rings and piston (for standard ones).
I think the VM28 is a better choice then.
Do I need to do any modifications, and which VM28 do you have?
