Imagine that exact bike *** and that's what I'd love to do with this FZR1k I've got sitting here getting dusty......

***edit: with wire wheels

Damn... that is sweet.

I'm usually not a fan of the most recent bikes done up as Streetfighters/Cafes due to the way the frame looks.

But DAMN

Does have some cafe styling cues but once again, real cafes don't have radiators.

But with a radiator you can brew your own cafe (coffee). can't really do that on an air-cooled motor. But...you can make air popped popcorn! ;D

I was thinking the same thing about rads & cafe's

Regardless... this rad is BIG! Really unatractive no matter how you feel about the genre.

But I am a card carrying Airhead ;D

Hey, oil coolers have been around since the stone age, and are rads too. The only thing I have against rads is for the most part they're ugly and they complicate the bike. I suppose that's at the heart of the matter - anything that complicates things is kind the antithesis of a cafe-racer.

But, riding in 30 degree Toronto downtown concrete heat, there are days I'd love to have a water cooled bike.

Or make a cup of coffee while sitting in traffic... ;D

Where is the engine on that thing? I see where the exhaust comes out behind that massive rad, and a few little bulgies here and there, but shit! Where's the polished side cases? The tappet covers? Pod filter? I WANT TO SEE THEM!!

Say I had an R1. Then I wrecked it. Then pulled off all the broken pieces. I might be tempted to do this. Think about it this way: If all you had to do to get that kind of performance was add a radiator, would you do it? If you've never ridden a crotch rocket, you cant answer that one.

I agree with the above statement 150%.
Thats why I bought a air cooled Monster ;D

Gorgeous bike. Looks mean and has the power to show it off.

This is in line with the Valkyrie cafe I seen earlier somewhere. Anyone has a pic of that?!

This machine?

Not sure if this is the one you are talking about, says its a VTX 1800 mill, pretty sure that's a Valkyrie right?
