I'm no purist... but pick a different bike to mod. Those are very desirable in stock form.

I wouldn't touch it, I love the look of those. I painted my 400T with the same scheme.

If you do modify it, do it in a way that it can be taken back to stock. I tend to agree with everyone else. That bike looks pretty great like it is.
