Ive been a member here for some time, browsing for technical advice when needed, lurking quietly. I thought I'd post a pic of my bike as sort of a thank you for the info I quietly took from this site. Some 5ish years ago, one of my very best friends found a very neglected and abused 81 cb750k on craigslist. He managed to get it for $250, and I helped him get it home. He tinkered with it a while, bought a few things now and then but eventually progress came to a halt. Last June, he was diagnosed with lung cancer, and a very aggressive type at that. They said 6-18mos. max. He gave me this bike still pretty stock and partially disassembled, and another bike. He said "If it's ever gonna go down the road again, I trust you will get it back out there". Well, he is fighting the good fight and has taken several 1000+ mile motorcycle trips over the past year and is doing *great* in his battle through chemo. I did my part and got the bike back on the road. Questions, comments welcome. And thanks again for all the help along the way.
