Robstar | Dutch CB350F project

Hi Folks,

my name is Rob (aka Robstar) 27 years old from Holland.

I was browsing on this site and decided i wanted to do build a moto myself.

My #1!

So i sold my Vespa, and the next day there was a Honda CB350F


The day i got it,

after some minutes it looked like this,

I took the engine to a guy, who worked his whole life in a Honda shop, so he will make it brand new (inside and outside)

The next day it's washing day

Then it was time for some internet shopping,

i got myself an USD fork of an Kawasaki ZX750

(pre)Mounted on the bike

and some new footpegs (for the real "belly on the tank"-look)

(Pre)mounted the Gear side

(Pre)mounted the Brake side

Then i took a look at the seat, wasn't sure what i wanted...

Brat?

CR?

Eventually i got myself an Motolanna seat, much easier ;D

So this is my progress till now, have to wait on some parts.

It's an retired man, so this is an hobby for him, doesn't do any other builds...

After work in the garage, working on my exhaust.

As you can see on previous photos my exhaust was slightly pointing up, now he is straigth backwards

Today removed all the unnecessary things on the bike, with the grinder.

Hopefully i will get my engine back this week.... Can't wait!

Sanded the tank, alost ready for groundcoat

Not sure about any color for the bike yet.... Do you have any ideas?

Today i got a package all the way from Thailand

Motolanna seat!

perfect quality for a reasonable price

Fits great

Now i have to make an loop, so the seat en frame are like one.

Also did some welding, i wanted a smooth gastank.

Did some grinding this weekend.

Only an loop for the seat to rest on.

Because the forks didn't fit in the cb tripletree, i had someone make me another
