Shop in New Orleans area?

Well I dont know what that means, but He had quite a few project bikes, and my jugs weren't the only Jap part/bike in there.. I'm sure he does do some good work, but he didn't do that with my head and guides. But it is what it is, and I don't bash him for it.

He's a Europhile, and does mostly older Ducati, Guzzi & BMWs.

He was on Magazine Street, then moved to Claiborne Avenue by the Dome, before finally moving out to Jefferson.

I will say, for both the good & bad, I wouldn't be half the mechanic I am now without him.

That's me. You probably talked to Dave, since I'm not a "people person" (and usually too busy) or Jeff.

We do a little bit of everything, probably 50/50 split motorcycles and scooters. We started as a scooter shop on the Westbank (Barataria) and moved when the original owner decided he couldn't sell scooters in the middle of nowhere.

I've been working on mostly motorcycles for twelve years now, but cut my teeth on old Vespas.

We're not set up for machine work, which is why we send out any work we need done.

Yea, it was a bigger guy that helped me.. I called it in so yall had it behind the counter. My uncle has a Ruckus scoot that needs a few parts(mainly the drive side i believe) and I saw yalls stretched and modified ones by the garge door. They were definitely neat and different from original!

Yea, I definitely could tell that! When I said mine wasn't the only one, I mean it was not THE only one but it was definitely the minority haha! Yea he seemed like a good guy and skilled in what he was doing, my head issue was just a messed up situation all on its own. A story for another time. I have no qualms with him, and if I needed to I would probably go back to him because he was nice and honest about everything.

Dave's in with the NOLA Ruckus guys, and we usually have a couple kicking around the shop in various states. Whenever folks look for parts they send them his way.
