Single source ground for multiple ground wire?

Good evening!

I picked up some new gauges that have all the standard indicator light inside the gauge. I wanted to get some ideas going for a clean way to ground 5 grounding wires to one source into the headlight lamp area.

I am running the other 5 power wire to my Motogadget M-Unit a long with the motogadget m-button.

Thank for the help, just looking for some clean safe ideas to ground them all.

I used the same gauge on the CB360. I took all 5 grounds, twisted them together and soldered them to one of the OEM male connectors. I reuse them by grinding the 'clamp' part of the connector down enough so you can remove the old wire, clean it and solder the wire back onto where you removed the old wire.

If you're using new connectors you can probably get away with using a crimp connection, but be sure to accommodate for the larger size of the multiple wires and choose the correct size connector.

Hey thanks for the quick reply! The stock headlight was grounded to one of the mounting bolts to the housing. So i think i do what your talking about and solder them all together to a connector. I am working on a CL360 myself.

You can pretty much connect the grounds for those switches to any connector on the stock ground wire, if you're still using that. I kept the original harness on the 360 and reused the male bullet connectors so I could plug em right in to the 3 way female connectors on the ground wire.

Don't ground all of those together. The neutral light and oil pressure light will need to go to their respective wires, not directly to ground.

Okay i'll take a look at the neutral light wiring setup in the diagram. I wont be using the oil pressure light. I am working on a CL360.

I wired up the oil pressure light to flash when the left directional turns on, and the directional light to flash when the right directional goes on.
