I have an electronic ignition system(known as a 'HondaMan ignition' over on forums.sohc4.net)that will use your ign. points as electric 'triggers' only so the points and timing/gap settings will last(no more burnt points 8)) Much longer.The system also gives a hotter spark w/ quicker advance curve starting at low speeds on up.I used it on my CB350 for 200 miles and removed it before selling my bike.
