Spark Plug Boot Options

The plastic plug boots on the ends of my CB360 coil wires are broken. I know they have an internal resistor and wanted to see what the options for replacing them are as I haven't been able to find a source. Also does anyone know what the resistance of the resistor is inside them so I could at least match a different style boot?

Some are 5k ohm, some are 10k ohm....5K is the usual replacement.

Dime City Cycles has them... http://www.dimecitycycles.com/vintage-cafe-racer-caferacer-bobber-brat-chopper-custom-motorcycle-electronic-ignition-parts-ngk-90-degree-elbow-spark-plug-boots-lb05f.html

They are 2.95 each, so find some other nice stuff there because shipping cost more than the 2 boots.....

Amazon has them, and lots of Motorcycle parts places have them as well as dealers.....Google is your friend

Also, www.hondacb360.com has lots of CB360 stuff too.....Zephyrking is a member here and a great guy.

Just don't run both 5k ohm boots AND plugs with resistance built in. Many NGK plugs have resistance already - denoted by an R in the model number usually. Dull spark = not making the ton ;)

If for some reason you want resistor plugs, then get 0 ohm boots. WWW.HondaCB360.com has NGK no resistance boots if that is they way you go. I am running Resistor plugs and non-resistor caps. the Caps are from Hondacb360.com....Send him a note and he will sell you just the caps....But Tim is right.

Brenden is Good People.....Haven't met him yet, but have been doing a bit of business.

My company has a branch in Houston I visit...Next trip I am going to pop in....
