spark plug cap info

Hi guys, can somebody shed some light on which NGK spark plug cap to buy? Is it resistor or non resistor and what size in mm do i buy as they suggest 12-14 mm etc? And part numbers would be good as well if poss. Thanks in advance Dave

Ngk makes caps for a bunch of applications. You just pick the one you need for your particular application.
 
Generally speaking, you don't want/need to combine Resistor caps with Resistor plugs. Your old bike likely doesn't need either, so if you can get non-Resistor caps, then at least you can try to find non-resistor plugs. Most plugs tend to be resistor-type, hence my suggestion to avoid having resistor caps. Double the resistance just means a weaker than necessary spark.

Just as a note, if you have resistor type caps and want to remove the resistor you can replace the resistor inside with a section of brass rod, this way you can run a resistor type plug and not have to replace the actual cap
