Spokewheels for 1980 cb400 twin

I have a 1980 Honda Cb400t with those 5 spoke steel rims on and I want to change it to spokes, can it be done and what wheels should I use to do this ( any other bike's that would work)?????? Please

Just picked up an 81 cb400 with spoke wheels... So, you should be able to find a set on the cheap I would think...

Any of the 78-86 CB/CM 400 450 wheels will work. the E models all had spokes, but also all had drum brakes. I am not sure if any of the models had spoke wheels and disk fronts. Knowing honda there is likely other wheels that have the right hubs, Google it and you might find someone who has done a swap that will work.

just realized i typed cb, its a cm400 e. it does have drums.

pretty much the same bike as the CB400 of the same year, different bars and seat, yours is an E so no Tach and drums/spokes, that's about the only difference.

I think the cb350/360 disc front might work, you'd have to check axle diameter though. You should be able to use any cm400e rear.
