hey guys!

how do you guys remove your sprockets?i need to remove mine(pretty bombed).

so i would give it a shot by putting the bike in neutral, rubber on ground, chain mounted. and use a decent ratched drill to open it up.
i dont find in any manual the decent torque for the sprocket nut...any ideas?

i heard its a NO GO to put the bike f example in 1. gear and remove it.-->destroys transmission?

sorry for being a noob!

Thanks in advance!

1) the correct size socket

2) an impact gun/wrench, it should remove easily

3) if it does not come off with no. 2, then put bike in gear
and use a breaker bar, lefty loosely, righty tighty

im thinking about buying an impact gun cuz it seems to be handy.which one would you buy?

ingersoll rand 231c

Even a used one . Even an old one . Parts are cheap and it's been around for more than 25 years and works .

now shopping for an air compressor is a whole different deal .
always more than you need and larger tank than you think .
