SR250 café seat and tank angles

Coast to Coast
Ok so the SR bikes usually have a kicked up tail but I'm wrestling with this. I have a motolanna seat that I might ditch in the future and make a matching metal tail for.

I'm happy with the tank to frame angle but should I drop the tail angle to more closely match the bottom line of the tank? I think this picture sums up the question:

I think it looks great, but if you really wanted to, you could drop the back of the seat about a half inch to an inch.

+ 1 it looks good as is but if the work isn't too much I would do the above too. From the looks of the tank mods you have some skills with cutting and re-sticking metal bits.

Thanks maritime. Yes, I have a bit of the bendy sticky skills. Never tackled a tank indent before but the tank only cost me $40 so I'll give it a shot. I'll post some progress pics in the tanks section maybe.

I'll use some of the sheet metal I cut out to sorta cheat on the shaping.
