Sr250 carb question

Hi, I have an 82 sr250 and I am trying to get the carb sorted out. I need to get an air/fuel mixture jet for it. I have found places online to order I just can't find what the stock size is. I've looked everywhere I can think of. The parts diagram for the carb doesn't show that jet. Thanks

Hi,

this was in my 1997 SR250:
main jet 122,5
needle jet 395 y-7
pilot jet 47,5

Try finding service manual for your year, on back of the manual should be specs. of all components. In carb section there should be listed what are stock sizes for jets.

hope this helps,

Cheers,
Ivan

Thanks for your reply Ivan. I have those numbers you posted already. What I'm after is the mixture screw. It's the vertical one on the engine side. Hope that's makes sense. I've checked a manual and it lists the jets sizes as you mention but doesn't say anything about the air/fuel mixture screw. I can order it online I just have no way of knowing what size to get. I've had a really good look on the Web and can't find anything!

To my knowledge there are no numbered options on mixture screws. The screw is just that...an adjustment screw. It is not like a main or a pilot jet that will be numbered. Get the jet that the parts website states and just order it as that. That is unless you are referring to a different jet....

Thanks regal you are correct. I must have misread. Now I'm back to not being able to find one again. Mikesxs doesn't ship to Canada. Anyone have another supplier?
