Strange Coils

Okay guys strange problem. I can unplug my left coil and nothing changes. The cylinder still fires! My bike is running fairly good just a little backfire. If I unplug the right coil the bike dies. Idles good, can ride it down the road and all that. Any Ideas?

Q: why do you think that the left cylinder is running? How hot is that pipe? Sounds like it is running on one cylinder. Can you post a video link?

Because the exhaust pipes are in no way connected and both are getting hot

But are they getting equally hot?

Try it on a cold engine with the one side unplugged.

Let's try that again. When you mentioned unplugging the coil I assumed you meant at the spark plug but maybe you meant at teh coil or somewhere in the harness. What did you disconnect?

The engine cannot run normally without a spark, so something doesn't compute here.
