hullo my name is stu and i have a problem.
i like to fix things. especially if they're old and lots of work.
my current problem is a 1971 CB250/350.
i have had other big problems before but now they're just lots of little ones.
the ute iv'e had for 15 years but the van only one.
and
i'm starting a tread in the projects section for this, my big problem of the moment.
this and two other bikes and 7 boxes of bits and three engines and lots of wheels was given to me buy a mate who's mum had had enough of it in her back yard. he scored it from his grand father. i'm pretty happy.
i've stored all of this stuff at other peoples places and in my shoe box of a back yard while it waited its turn for about 5 years i think. it's been so long i can't remember. the time has come.
the third bike, not pictured yet, is the most complete so i'm leaving it alone as long as i can in hope i'll get two bikes out of it, possibly three. this first one is going to be an exercise in miserliness.
this will be my first bike and my first build. i've been pulling apart stuff my whole life.
