Stuck Swing Arm

Hey, I've got a CB750f project I am working on, and I am trying to remove the swing arm so I can get everything powder coated. Problem I have is that the locking nut which holds the pivot shaft in the frame is completely stuck. I can't get anything to move, and I've tried everything I can think of including an impact driver. Any thoughts?

The nut shouldn't be all that tough - heat it up - a propane torch will get it hot enough. A quality box end wrench and a pipe usually offers the best chance of turning the nut without damage, but the heat and impact should do it easily as long as you use a 6 point socket. I am assuming you are using an air impact. They vary wildly in performance, so don't assume you can't do better with a wrench and some leverage.

The lock nut should come off pretty easy, the shaft can be a different matter though.
I use either air tools or a 2 ft breaker bar and impact socket
If shaft is seized into bearings its generally easier to cut it off inside frame rails either side, bash out the pieces then fit new bearings and shaft
