I have a stock 76 400F that needs a lighter, cleaner look on the back end. That stock rear fender goes way too far down, and those stock Stanley tail light and lollipop turn signals are just too big. Anyone know of a fender out there that will attach to the stock internal fender, or am I better off just replacing both of those with a single metal fender?
On the tail light, what options besides the Lucas-style or cat eye LED lights work well with this bike? I think a cateye could tuck up nice in the space between a shortened rear fender and the existing seat, but the Lucas is a more 70s look.
I want to keep the original seat for now (no rips, foam in nice shape), but a thinner, more brat-ish seat with some up-curve at the end would probably look great. Don't really want to put a rear metal cowl on the back as I'm not going with clip-ons. Anyone have some ideas/images on that?
