Taillight on my Cafe

I'm gettin kinda sick of my generic cateye taillight on my bike... that and I can't fit a proper LED in there.

I was wondering if anyone here had any cool ideas or a good place to look around for a nicer taillight.

I really like the classic lucas style and I was thinking the rear-fender mounted units would flow well with the shape of my seat hump and be able to be mounted that way... I also like the hotrod style "Stop" taillights, but I don't know how they mount or if the long LED will fit.

Hope I can get a few good suggestions... Right now I'm running the taillight without any lens and just a led cluster bulb hanging out.

Mine fits just fine!!

Yeah... I guess it's just the LED I ordered then... Here's what it looks like now:

To clean up the hump seat area you should mount your next headlight/license bracket underneath.

Ya know.. .its actually doesnt look too bad like that!!..Different!!

That's pretty badass.
Dont know about the skulls though, on this bike anyway. If I ever finally get the loot to buy (or the machinery to make) a frame i'll be looking for that light for a bobber. But thanks for reminding me of something - I was planning on mounting my knuckles (brass knuckles) on to the empty space near the trees...
Gonna get goin on that 'now the once' and post some pics.

My buddy gets back from london soon (workin at the oldest harley dealership in the uk) and he's bringin me a couple tax tag holders (as seen on ProTeal's CB450) so I may replace em with a tag with the Do The Ton logo in it ;D

We shal see!

Oh, and I like the truck taillight idea, and I don't care about lighting the plate... I was considering just side mounting it anyway, I'm sick of having to switch it every time I go from 1-up to 2-up.
I was thinking about one of the bobber ones that have STOP written in em, mounted in the same way that my current cateye is (Sans the plate of course).

There's plenty of those side mounted STOP light brackets on Ebay or look in the Custom Chrome or Drag Specialties catalogues. They're usually found in chopper books. Repros aren't too pricey.
