Taillight Wiring help!

Spicey!
Hello guys, well I recently purchased some LED lights to make a new taillight set up. Here it is:

I'd like to use it as a running, brake, and turn signal light, just like the ones on the HD Iron 883. However, what will I need to do to accomplish such a task?

Wires:
White - Ground
Red - High Intensity Light
Black - Low Intensity Light

I also have an LED relay for the turn signals. So how will I be able to turn these lights into a running, brake, and turn signal light?

Those are just straight up dual intensity reds right? I might be wrong, but I think you will need some kind of control box to do what you are thinking of.

For just tail light operation, you would hook the running light positive to the black wires and the brake light positive to the red wires.

Since you have the brake light positive hooked up to both red wires, they are now in effect connected together. So if you hooked up one turn signal to one red wire, both lights would blink. You will need some kind of circuit to activate the lights individually.

I think you will need something like one of these. http://www.customdynamics.com/tailconversion_kit.htm You could probably find something that does the same cheaper. I'm just too lazy to look.
 
I appreciate the link. I'm searching for something cheaper at the moment. I thought I could just splice the high intensity and connect it to both the turn and brake, but you're right, it'll essentially make both lights light up.
 
Have you tried putting power to red wire and grounding each in turn?
use a small battery (1.5~3v) unless it states 12v somewhere on 'bulb'
I don't see any way to make a turnsignal out of it as well?

Try Princess Auto, they sometimes have modules for trailer lights that would do the trick I think.

Yes! That's what I was thinking of. You could probably find something cheap for a trailer that would work. I've seen trailer stuff at harbor freight or northern tool. Ebay might have something too. I was searching for motorcycle specific stuff.

You really only need something to separate the brake and turn circuits. The running light is already a separate circuit.
