The 1982 Honda cm200t and the neophyte on the coast

I have been a longtime admirer of cafe racers and unique custom bikes but never was able to cross over into becoming an owner.

That all changed today.

I'm now the proud owner of a 1982 Honda cm200t, which I'm planning to slowly turn into a nice custom cafe with the help of a friend who might show me some of the ropes. The bike sounds and runs great, and mostly just needs cosmetic work. Look for my posts in the upcoming months because it should be a really fun build!

Hey I just picked up an 82 cm 200 last Tuesday. I'm looking to do some more modifications/upgrades to it as well. Keep updating when you find performance upgrades etc. It's my first project as well. although mine is already well on its way. wrapped pipes, drag bars etc. I'll get pictures up soon.
