Doug aka Beatnic, helped me get the rest of the engine apart. it took a little effort to split the case. it made it easy with an extra set of hands that knows what he is doing. thanks Doug!
We found out that a couple of teeth broke on on one of the gears. i guess that is what caused the back wheel to lock up.
Now i have to clean it out to make sure i get all the shards of metal out and put it back together when i find some replacement parts.
