Thinking about selling CB and getting a really good all arounder.

No quarter given, none taken.
The wife and I were on our way to Seattle with our kids when we started talking about the age of our vehicles. The,"we are gonna need new cars soon" conversation. The wife thought I was closer to being due because the Subie is close to having 260,000 on the clock. I feel the Odessey is closer because it has a little over 200,000 and the sliders need work and it needs struts, windshield etc.. Point is, she is not wiling to give up the van yet. She really likes it. And all the Subie really needs is cam seals. Runs like a top.
So I thought I'd bring up getting a new or newer bike. Something I can ride until the snow flies, then run the Subie in the snow.
Amazingly she was not at all against it. :o
Thinking about maybe a Triumph Tiger 800 with heated grips and a Sargent heated seat would be all sorts of awesome as a daily. Anyone have any input as to what else is out there that would be similar? Just kinda checking out specs and prices for now.

I'll have to look into the v-strom more. I'm figuring on about 90% asphalt, 10% dirt. And from what I've read/watched the I'm pretty settled on the triumph. And the howl from that triple, god I love that noise. ;D
I'll probably get the roadie to boot as it's less expensive, and more suited to what I want to do. And Shinko makes the 705's in the proper size if I want a bit more aggressive tread.
