Hey guys, first of all, this site has provided a ton of inspiration and help along the way, and has really helped me with my KZ650 project even though I'm really more of a lurker.
These days, I'm so damn busy with school/work/training for bike racing that I don't really have time to work on my bike and I'm about 50% sure I'm going to sell it one of these days. As-is, it sits at about 80% done and is in need of very little mechanically - F brake master cylinder installed, battery properly hidden, little stuff basically. I was going for the Wrenchmonkees look - no gauges, signals, high-beam, VERY stripped-down. Not sure if this is gonna appeal to the masses. I also, however, have a spare bike with a good motor and lots of extra parts. I have a CNC throttle, new seat, new chain/sprockets, new steering head bearings, etc. waiting to be installed. It's all there for someone with a little more know-how and time than I have got. However, since it isn't done looks ratty (no paint on tank with some patina, etc.) I am not sure if it will sell - I am shooting for a grand even. Should I sell as-is, in need of work? Should I finish it according to my idea of what I wanted and let someone decide if they like it? Am I dreaming, and should I just keep the damn thing since it's been mostly done up to my standards? Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Here's a couple photos of the bike, one of it when I bought it (wish I would have kept it stock to an extent...) and one halfway through me messing with it!
