throttle cables

hey guys so i bought this throttle body

my question is how do you get the nipples into the openings or would you have to cut them off and buy new ones?

Remove the housing bolts to split open open the housing. Then you should see where the nipples get installed. From there, there should be a groove to slide the cable through the cable guide. If not, it would probably be easier to cut grooves than it would be to make new cable ends.

Have you emailed or called the guys at DCC? They have been extremely helpful with technical support questions I've had with the products they sell. This week might be a bad idea with Barber going on...but next week might be a better time to call.

thanks for the reply I'm actually talking about the part where the cables come out of the housing the holes are so small you can't feed the cable ends through them

Right, it looks like the housing splits in half. A small slot just bigger than the cable would allow you to insert the end into the trottle, then slide the cable into its slot, rather than trying to push the end of the cable through that tube.
