Tire advice needed.

Coast to Coast
Finally have my rims rebuilt for my cb750 and about to start truing them then can get some rubbers on them. I'm new to buying bike tires and was looking for some advice on where to look for tires online, size, brand, all that fun stuff. Also I'm looking to get white wall tires. Well appreciate any advice! Thanks guys!

I fully recommend Avon Roadriders, as will many others, but I do not believe them to be available in white walls.

Try Motorcycle superstore they are having a tire sale right now, i got an email from them yesterday. There are a few brands that do whitewalls but not sure the size ranges, you can search the site by size and they will show you everything available, they also carry most brands out there.

What are the OEM sizes from your CB750? those Cokers look cool but don't handle well at all. You can get white walls in modern rubber compounds depending on the size you need.

Re: Tire advice needed.

The tires that came off the bike are Dunlop qualifies. Front was 100/90-19 57H and rear 110/90-18 61H. I don't know how well the bike handles with them because there where badly dry rotted when I got the bike.

What size are the wheels? That's the only way to correctly determine what size tires are needed.

Stock cb750k4 wheels

On the front you could run a 90/90, 100/90, 110/80, or a 110/90 and the rear a 100/90, 110/80, 110/90, 120/90, 130/90. These sizes are acceptable on the rim. You'll need to check swing arm clearance to see if they will fit on the bike.

Best size is usually what came on the bike stock. I think you'd be around a 90 front, 110 rear. A 100/120 setup would be fine too. Not like the CB750 is 'flickable' ;)

Check out Shinko 777 tires if you're looking for whitewalls. You can get them in your sizes and they're well priced. Shinko seems to be good quality at a good price with some interesting options.

Correction - Shinko actually doesnt have the rear tire you need. My bad.
