Hello All,
I have given a brief introduction in the past but I should really get more involved here! I have been building some CM250Ts and CM400Ts over last few years.
We all like pictures
so I'll ad one of a bike I'm just getting ready to sell to pay for my main project. I am waiting for a 'spicy' camshaft from USA to arrive before I put the engine back in. Which leads me to mention that I live in North Germany where the Honda 400s where generally 'Reduced Effort' restricted to 27PS with a smaller Camshaft.
Building a bike in Germany is a complete pain in the backside due to the huge amount of regulations and all the changes have to be inputted on to the registration document. Also my lack of complete understanding of the language hinders things!
My current main project is now back to bare bones as I used a lot of bits for the sale bike. (See before stripping pic). I prefer the retro Brat tracker Scrambler look.
Now for my Question!
Does anybody know of an 18'' normal Comstar wheel with twin discs?
I would desperately like to convert to a twin front disc, I have the parts from a CB400N but the front wheel is 19'' and like I mentioned all changes have to be registered. I'm also fairly sure the inspector will not deem the bike safe as they are very particular about wheel and tyre sizes. Maybe the width could be different!?
I also believe it is the 18'' front and 16'' rear that makes the CM more enjoyable to ride than the CB.
Anyway any advice would be great
