Well guys, what do we think ?

We [ Realm ] should be there anyway with the Scorpio Trike and the Vindicator TR1 [ 60's Cafe Racer ].
Plenty of time to get organised and the show organisers may well be prepared to give us a "Club" stand.

let me know if you are interested and what bike you have.

Would love to see this come together. Any help I can be just let me know. Patches, banner...

Thanx for the encouragement Tim - I've been doing this kind of stuff [ and shows ] for the past 40 odd years.

I'll contact the show organisers when the dust has settled from the October event and see what I can jack up.

Thanx for the offer Surplus.

Now we've got the nod from Tim, I'll go ahead and get something organised - need input / displays from the UK Chapter ???????????????????????

if I am not using it, I have a 6m x 3m gazeebo we could use. my mate could do a banner if needed. here it is just as we started to load the stand (my brothers z650 with gpz11 motor) and a second pic of my mate old w/end play thing

That'd be really cool Surplus. I guess we'll get a posse together before the time - there's always someone with free time.

BTW - the Triumph Dragster - I had a very similar machine with reverse head that I used to Sprint in the late 60's.

VJMC show at Uttoxeter is a well attended show, free pitch for clubs etc I'll be there with the stand again, could book two pitches if you want (side x side) and help set up both? what do you think?

3 or 4 july usually
had a sample of stickers made, what you think

Cool stuff Surplus ..........

However, I think we need to stick with the basic DTT patch and incorporate something UK orientated in the middle of the Spade to keep the continuity of the original patch.

OK with decals, but as you probably know, when you start introducing colours to embroidered patches the prices whizz up.

Maybe something incorporating "UK Chapter" ?

popped over there today, not a bad turn out. my mate on the Z1 owners stand said it was packed yesterday 8) given my details in to the organisors as well, they should be posting me some info for next year :)

Surplus - hope my comments re: UK DTT patch didn't cause offence....

Your input would be greatly appreciated - + anyone else who wants to throw in.

True to form for me, bit late joining in on this one. I went to Stafford on the Saturday and it was rammed, bordering on stupid busy. Some bargains to be had but also the usual story of all to easy to pay over the odds for worn out kit as well.

So is their an official UK "chapter" of DTT? I might be up for attending a show or two next year if I ever finish my build.

Patch wise, I agree, stick with the basic DTT format but make it UK specific.

Pixie,

I have spoken with Tim and the UK Chapter is authorised. I guess really we should get our arse in gear and get the patch / decal sorted out. I'm sure there will be representation at shows next year, so we do need a bit of organisation !

For the time being I don't mind organising things.

So, I think we are going towards the normal DTT design with a UK referrence. Either a map or just "UK".

Let me have any ideas guys. I'll liaise with Tim and see about getting it authorised and get the patches / decals made.
Surplus, can we have your input on this, maybe costs etc. to have patches / decals made?
