Just a thought... You may be better suited to post some before/after pics, and possibly talk to the Admins about an ad on the site.

Id be pretty interested, I can pay shipping back and forth. Did you say you can rebuild the carbs if I send you a kit? What would your cost be on that minus shipping.

Thanks
Dustin

Why do you ask?

i too would like to know the solution that you use....i have seen some video of Ultrasonic clean on Youtube and some of the chemicals are harsh...it literally eats the metal away. carbs are a thin metal. plus, what does it do to o-rings and such. on any rate, i agree that some before and after pictures would be an added bonus for those interested.
bump for ya!

Here is my opinion on ultrasonic carb cleaning. Depending upon the solution used, it works great!!!!! For making the carbs LOOK nice and clean For some reason I have had a few of these carbs come my way from un-happy owners for a good old fashioned soak cleaning. For some reason, after the ultrasonic, they had nothing but problems. Don't know why, but they do work fine once they are re-cleaned by soaking them. All my customers had different people clean their carbs, as there are quite a few people doing this now.

Works really well here, were are you that sonic won't clear the orifices? Lots of sandy shmutz making it's way?
Or gummy gas? I had a guy bring his KLR in after a trip thru baja and you wouldn't believe the crap that came outta the carb....
