ultrasonic carb cleaning

so still the question remains....what are some of the solutions used?

depends directly on what you're cleaning.
Zinc won't react well with solution that stainless or other metals might be just fine with.
Cleaning plastic bit? different again...

Hit up your local supplier for advice would be my best offering.
I've used carb cleaner, lemon and water, pinesol, soap and water....etc

I just use a bulk ultrasonic cleaning solution there is no brand name on the I tested it out on allsorts of my own personal parts doesn't eat ruber or plastics its not a very harsh solution.
