Being that I live in Canada and shipping across the border at times can be very expensive I try to shop as much locally as I can but our local shops can really suck and have no clue and just order things anyways.
So the other day I needed to order some parts for my bike and xs650direct had them so I placed the order; new coil, plugs and plug boots. Placed the order and received it within a few days due to Fedex shipping within Canada.
When I received the package everything was packaged well and as I started taking things out of the box I got to the spark plugs and this is were I ran into issues.
The plugs I ordered from these guys were B8ES and their website shows that they are the threaded style so I can run them with my resistor boots. When I looked at the box it says on it that they are the 2411 which has the removable head on them; so I went to unscrew them and couldn't. So I grabbed some pliers and tried and again could not. So I went to the NGK website and looked up the B8ES model and see that there is in fact two different types and one does have the removable head on it and the other does not.
So I send an email off to them asking if they have heard of anything regarding this and 2 days go by before I even hear an answer. When I do get an answer this is the response I get:
So immediately I send a response back:
and the response I get back:
At this point I'm not happy because of taking a few minutes and checking their stock they just tell me what their site says and give a general blanket statement which is something I despise from any company large or small.
So my response back is:
These are $4 worth of plugs... Why will I spend money to ship them back to these guys for its not worth my time. The right thing would have been to go into your stock grab a couple ensure they are the 2411 as I want and then ship them out.
The course of action, poor communication and such from these guys has left a super sour taste in my mouth.
I realize that they most likely won't see this and that I know people will have to form their own opinion on a company and that this is perhaps to be taken with a grain of salt.
I just felt that I would give feedback on the service that I have gotten from these guys.

Hello,
We currently just carry the 2411 type. If you would like to return the one's you have let me know and I will send the return info over.
Thanks,
XS650Direct
So immediately I send a response back:
the box does say 2411but that is not what is inside.
i would have liked a better response and perhaps a investigation into this.
and the response I get back:
Hi Curtis,
We just sell this non detachable type. There is another type out there that detaches but we do not carry this type.
Thanks
XS650Direct

So my response back is:
Then explain to me please how I ended up with 2 that are non-detachable. I am aware of the two types that are out there and I have 2 that do not come apart.
If I have 2 that can not be removed I am going to wager you have more. And if that is the case as a good business practice I would be checking others that you have and verifying this instead of making your customer feel like they are not right and that you are.
This is very bad practice and I am very unhappy with the responses I have received. You can now no longer except to see me as a customer nor will I recommend you to anyone if they ask where to get parts.
