I am working on my first ever build, a 1982 Suzuki GS450TXZ. The bike has Mikuni CV carbs, BS34's. I like the look of pods, but I have read over and over that the pods are a pain in the rear to tune and there are a lot that needs to be addressed when using them. So my questions are...
1. Do CV carbs typically run well when velocity stacks are used?
2. My stock jets are main=115 and pilot=17.5. I had to cut the stock mufflers off and plan to use Shorty Mufflers from DCC like the ones in the link below. What size jets would you start out with to get the carbs dialed in?
