Hey Scarcat, I hope you get it. The helmet is in really nice shape.
I can't be sure, but I think it's made of Carbon Fibre, it's like super light. 8)

I could be wrong buy, (if so, I know that I"ll be corrected very shortly), but I dont think that simpson ever made a bandit helmet in CArbon Fiber... Keep in mind, that helmet is from the very early 70's....They didnt even have telephone invented back then... let along carbon fiber ;D

OK, I found a old mag and it's made of fibreglass and it's from 1984. :-[
" Druro " a member if this forum has a avatar of my helmet. As for the resin not sure, all I can tell you it's red inside also and it's the orignal factory paint.

You are mistaken. That is the second gen. You can tell by the shield shape. The 1st gen was banned for street use back in the 80's for a lack of vision. This is the "Darth Vader" 1st gen.

I stand corrected... I got the 1st Gen & the 2nd Gen mistaken!!...oops.

So, its the Darth Vader one that the more desirable one from a collection stand point!!..
