Welding in swingarm brace, tips needed

I bought a couple of extra swing arms to do braces on because I figured it would be much more beneficial to make 3 at once and sell 2 off to offset the cost of building mine. I happened to grab the latest one purchased and tack welded the brace up to fit to the bike to check for clearance issues. As soon as the pivot bolt went in I went through the roof.This swing arm is bent out of shape by almost 1-1/2". It has obviously been in an accident of some sort to be this out of whack. I'm glad I checked before welding the whole thing up. I have a message in to the seller but he hasn't replied. My pink plumb bob strings are draped over the rear frame rails:


 
No, it's both sides, one worse than the other. I only paid $20 for the SA and was refunded that from the seller. It's not worth my time to try and straighten it. and sell it to some other unsuspecting individual. Would you like to buy it after I straighten it? Here is a stock one on top and the bent one on the floor with the pivots parallel. It's a good 1-1/2" out

 
That thing is fucked. Good on the seller for making you square.

Yup, got a boat anchor now. The seller dealt with it promptly proving there are still good honorable people left in the world. I bought them off the SOHC.com forum along with some coils and a set of CB400f cylinders. Ended up giving $73 shipped for the cylinders and coils.
He did say that he thought everything looked lined up when he took it apart, I don't see how that is possible.
