Well, new to this board, looks like its right up my alley. Thanks to TinTin for posting it on the xs650 board otherwise wouldn't have found it. From what I have read lots of Canucks here, I'm on the wet coast. I have a xs650 set up as a street tracker, my baby at the moment. Recently sold 2 of my other bikes, an xn85 turbo and my old dt250 trail bike, so my garage has space for another 2 wheeler, another xs650 is in my plans. Have the motor already, getting a little bit of a warm up, pistons, cam, etc, all I need is the bike to drop it in, but nothing seems to be out there withen my price range and the years that I would like. But as they say good things happen for those that wait. Just got back from a trip to England, 2 week holiday. Got back home the day before the nut jobs started trying to blow the place up. My wife and I were in Piccadily the day before, wall to wall people, and we are glad to be out of there. Made a deal with her, she can go to Harrods if I can go to the Ace cafe, ok. Neat to see the place where this form of motor cycle started, all kinds of pictures and stuff from the 50s and 60s on the walls,as well as bikes in the parking lot, great stuff. I will be cruising the board from time to time, see whats new. Good work guys. John.
