what is the make of this? what does it go to?

I'm needing some help identifying this part. I'm pretty good at finding out what something is but I can't narrow this one down. It looks like a regulator of some sort but has a weird logo I've never seen. It has the logo and one letter stamped on each of the prongs "E" "F" and "I"... I got it with some parts from a guy that I bought a cb750 and a cx500 from.. It is pretty big and may not even go to a motorcycle. I've seen mower parts on bikes before so it wouldn't surprise me if this is from a 1982 Chevy Caprice. . anyways, here are some pictures. Thanks.

Looks like a stock regulator from an early cb550-750 likely the stock part

Yup. Surprised I didn't recognize that part... Oh well. Shit happens... Doesn't look like a Tec or Nippon Denso logo so it threw me off... You guys know what manufacturer logo that is?
