What would you start with?

I'm looking at picking up one of the following 2 bikes to start with:
73 Cb750k3 - doesn't run, owner says it needs to be freed up, has been sitting for 25+ years. Looks to be in decent shape otherwise.

82 cb450t hawk - runs and is in good shape. Road worthy as is.

I can pick either bike up for around $400. Both have titles. Thanks, brian

How big of a guy are you? The 450 might be too small.

If it's 2 different sellers, I'd tell the owner of the 750 about the other bike for the same price.

The CB750 would be an easy choice if it wasn't seized. It all depends on how bad it is. Could be an easy task or a total loss. Especially if the piston wrecked the cylinder walls.

So I went with the 750. It was clean and all original. Just has a much different look than the 82. Will start a build thread soon.
